How to dress for a wedding (or a ceremony) and be original?
Monday 4 June 2018
Summer announces the season of various ceremonies (bachelorette parties, weddings, baptisms and counting) and choosing an outfit requires originality but also formality (you don’t want to overshadow the hosts).
Of course, you can always opt for a little black dress…or be more creative and get your inspiration from the current trends. In 2018, wedding outfits have evolved (thank God !), and they can be very modern and fashionable. That’s why pieces like the jumpsuit or the romper are perfectly acceptable for a ceremony nowadays.
This year has been, without any doubt, the year of the blazer, so you can find, in the Summer collections, a wide range of pastel, colorful or printed suits that are the perfect modern and sophisticated outfit for a ceremony. I also spotted a lot of crop tops and high-rise wide-leg pants combos, a bold option for edgy fashionistas.
Colorwise, yellow is definitely the color of the season, followed by lavender and fuchsia.
