Fabric Hunted and Collected

I would like to introduce you to Fabric Hunted and Collected, a Parisian label I recently discovered and have a major crush on. Fabric Hunted and Collected is a beautiful project, imagined by the designer Gabrielle, combining the love of fashion and a real commitment to sustainability. Gabrielle spent 6 enriching years at the prestigious Chanel studio in Paris and decided to launch her own brand in 2015. Her one guidance: her passion for textiles. Her trips in pursuit of rare fabrics led  her to India and Nepal, where she meets artisans with a unique savoir-faire and knowledge. Fabric Hunted and Collected is the result of an intimate collaboration with local craftsmen, discovering and showcasing the finest handwoven textiles: an ode to the timeless art of true craftsmanship.

The signature of the brand : combining ethnic patterns with modern and stylish garments. All fabrics are handwoven which make each piece unique !

The jumpsuits, Gabrielle’s first creation and best-seller, instantly caught my eye. It’s such a versatile and easy-to-wear piece, that can suit any situation and transition from day to night ! Wear it with flat shoes for a casual-chic style during the day ; at night switch your shoes for pumps, add a clutch and a leather jacket, and I guarantee that you’ll look effortlessly chic (and super cool). The cherry on top, they fit perfectly : not too long, not too large, the design and cut flatter the silhouette, which is not always easy to find with a jumpsuit.

Another cool fact about the brand: Gabrielle wants to dress all women, that’s why she’s designing “loose” cuts that suit all bodies.Her wrap dresses or wool kimono blazers are chic and glamorous pieces that will fit anyone.

So far I have bought this white linen hoodie (believe me or not, there’s still room for my 8 months baby bump!) with these light pants, two pieces ideal for the Summer!
