Since we’re all in the middle of Christmas shopping, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite addresses in Paris : Centre Commercial, a small and edgy concept store, which has become in just a few years, one of the coolest places to shop in the French capital.

Compare it to Merci, or Colette, with one major difference : Centre Commercial only selects eco-conscious brands and designers, with a total transparency about their production methods.

This concept is not surprising, considering that the founders are also the creators of the fair trade sneaker brand Veja.

So who will you find at Centre Commercial ? « Made in France » brands such as Bleu de Paname, Repetto, Avril Gau, Michel Vivien or the super trendy Roseanna, but also eco-friendly and sustainable brands like Valentine Gauthier (the new Isabel Marant, they say !) and a great selection for kids. The extra-hip: the space also welcomes events, product launches, and art exhibitions.

Located in Rue de Marseille, in a very animated district, full of shops, coffees and restaurants by the Canal Saint-Martin, Centre Commercial (which means, ironically « Mall » in French), combines fashion with social commitment and artistic projects with environmental concerns. Definitely a place to visit if you’re in town!
