Today, I am introducing you to the Parisian brand Balzac Paris!

I’ve always been such a fan of their minimalist, chic and « fashionable but not victim » style. As a stylist and Personal Shopper, Balzac Paris is exactly the kind of brand that I recommend to my clients, because it really cares about the quality of the clothes (the collections are created in Paris, and manufactured in Spain or Portugal). As a result, their garments are well-cut, the fabrics pleasant to wear and comfy. As for the style, Balzac Paris revisits basic pieces, bringing them up-to-date, drawing it’s inspiration from the current trends. It’s the ideal designer brand to shop if you’re looking for a timeless yet fashionable wardrobe!

For the very first time, I modeled to present you my favorite pieces of the current collection (FW16-17). I was a little anxious about it (I never really posed in front of a camera), but this exercise turned out to be easier than expected thanks to photographer Du Style Madame, who made it real easy for me!

I like simple and easy-to-wear clothes, and my style is pretty minimalist (like Balzac Paris’s collections), with a rock twist.

First, I selected this cute romantic blouse with a ruffle collar. Ruffles are a major trend this season, but I usually try to stay away from it because I know that this trend won’t last (and too much ruffles look like a costume to me!). But the ruffle collar on this blouse is discreet, very refined, and the brut denim color of the blouse contrasts with the romantic style and makes it more modern.

Then, I picked these black leather ankle boots. We can all agree that it became, over the past few years, a must-have that every woman should have in her wardrobe ! At any time of the year, these boots will add a glam-rock touch to your outfit : during the Winter, wear these with skinny jeans or over opaques tights, and when Spring comes, it will be perfect with your little boho dresses!

Another MUST-HAVE: a floaty printed dress. It’s such a feminine piece, easy to wear and to transition from day to night (wear the ankles boots during the day, and switch them for black pumps for the evening!). What I really like about this dress : this style suits everybody’s shape…even pregnant women ! Yes, this little prominence that you can see is my 4 months baby bump!

My last crush : this red cable-knit sweater. Cable-knit has been all the rage for a few seasons, for my greatest pleasure, because if you ask me nothing’s more comfy to warm you up in the Winter! Also, the flamboyant red colour of this sweater makes it a statement piece: no need to think extra-hard for the rest of your outfit, your sweater says it all!
