5 shoe trends we will be wearing this summer

As a Personal Shopper and of course a fashion-addict, I give special attention to the choice of my accessories, especially the shoes. For one simple reason: you can be wearing the most amazing outfit, if the shoes don’t follow, the whole look is ruined.

The good news is that in reverse, choosing the right shoes can transform a basic outfit, and even give THE final touch that will set your look and make it either rock, elegant, casual, edgy….

A few examples: wear the cutest little floral dress with boots, you will look glam-rock or punk-rock; jeans with kitten heels mules are no longer casual but super chic, a suit with sneakers gives an instant cool and edgy vibe.

Choose a small block-heel model or kitten heel mules to be ultra-trendy, and wear them with absolutely everything.

CHUNKY SNEAKERS

You must have seen these edgy bloggers walking in this massive, almost orthopedic sneakers by Louis Vuitton or Balenciaga. You are not dreaming, these chunky sneakers are in the fashion stakes. There is good and bad to this trend: the bonus is that they are so big that they make our legs look skinny, plus they are so comfy. The bad news? Yes, they are undeniably

Ugly…but hey, we did worse to stay ahead of the fashion game (remember the UGG trend for instance?).

Thank god, you don’t have to spend 700 euros (the price of the Balenciaga model) to join the chunky sneakers club, I have listed below 3 cool pairs of sneakers for a moderate price (and, if you ask me, a better look!).

This might be my favorite trend, because it is so feminine and vintage-inspired: slingbacks are back and everywhere this season, in modern and up-to-date iterations! I am obsessed with the geometric heels model by Jacquemus.

MOROCCAN SHOES

In case you missed it, Morroco is THE place to go in 2018, and this is even felt in the fashion trends: the Moroccan shoes (these flat, pointy and open in the back mules) are having a moment: wear them with loose pants, a mini dress or jeans, only if you have thin/long legs.
